Accessibility Statement for Upton County, Texas
We want everyone who visits the Upton County elections website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding, going above and beyond the requirements stated in Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
What are we doing?
To help us make the Upton County elections website a positive place for everyone, we've been referring to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, more compatible with assistive technology, and more user friendly for everyone.

Notice of Voting Order Priority(PDF) 
Curbside Voting:
Curbside voting is designed for voters who are physically unable to enter the poll place. It allows eligible individuals to vote from their vehicle. Voters can request curbside voting at any early voting site or election day polling place. Park in the designated space, call the number on the sign and a poll worker will assist you. 
Some documents may not be fully accessible to all users, such as forms filled out by hand and digitized via scanning. While we have applied OCR techniques to make them as usable as possible, there are cases where they do not perform well in screen readers.
