NOTICE OF MEETING

NOTICE is hereby given that the Commissioners’ Court of Upton County will meet in regular session on the 4th Monday in July, 2010, the same being July 26, 2010, at 9:00a.m., in the Commissioners’ Courtroom of the Courthouse in Rankin, to discuss matters coming before it in due course of business.

AGENDA

1. Pay bills. - Approved.

2. Accept reports, deputations, and approve any additions to bond list. - Accepted reports. There were no deputations or additions to bond list.

3. Approve minutes of July 12, 2010. - Approved

4. Receive bids on struck-off property. - No bids received

5. Discuss and act on transfer of funds from Little League to McCamey/Rankin Football
Association. - Approved

6. Discuss and act on giving cell phone allowance to employees who have County cell phones. – Approved to give employees $ 100.00 per month for cell phone allowance starting October 1, 2010

7. Work on Budget.

8. Discuss and act on renewing retirement benefits for 2011. – Approved to stay at 9%

9. Report to Court from County Judge, Public Nuisance Property Hearing Update for July
23rd, 2010 Deadline.

10. Discuss and act on demolishing any and/or all structures, and mowing property declared
Public Nuisance by Court, to wit: property ID R8643-0880 GC&SF, BLOCK R, Section 8
2AC, 42.75 Feet by 210 feet; PT NW4.21 Acres as all publications/hearing deadlines ended
July 23rd, 2010. – Approved to demolish property.

11. Discuss and act on purchasing new vehicle for Sheriff’s Department. - Approved

12. Discuss and act on County’s paying for JP Navarrete’s car repair because Deputy Jenkins
backed into it. – Approved to pay McCamey Body Shop $6,993.09 for repair work.

13. Discuss and act on Pearl Grant for McCamey Library. - Approved

14. Discuss and act on Pearl Grant for Rankin Library. - Approved

15. Discuss and act on disposing of recyclable metal in Rankin Landfill. – Approved to allow Mr. Abalos to clean up recyclable metal in Rankin Landfill.

16. Discuss and act on IHS (Indigent Healthcare Solutions). – No Action Taken.
