NOTICE OF MEETING
NOTICE is hereby given that the Commissioners’ Court of Upton County will meet in regular
session on the 2nd Monday in July, 2010, the same being July 12, 2010, at 9:00a.m, in the
Commissioners’ Courtroom of the Courthouse in Rankin, to discuss matters coming before it in due
course of business.

AGENDA
1. Pay bills. - Approved.
2. Accept reports, deputations, and approve any additions to bond list. - Accepted reports.
There were no deputations or additions to bond list.
3. Approve minutes of June 28, 2010. - Approved.
4. Receive bids on struck-off property. - No bids received
5. Discuss and act on use/fee for softball parks concessions. Approved to charge $ 25.00 fee
for private functions. No fee for any Associations using the concession stand if money goes back
into the Association.
6. Discuss and act on renewing retirement benefits for 2011. Table until next meeting on July
26, 2010
7. Discuss and act on service agreement renewal with APPRISS for the Victim Information &
Notification Everyday Program (VINE). Approved
8. Discuss and act on Roger Mason’s request for County Animal Control Ordinance(s).
County Attorney will draft a County Ordinance for Commissioners Court to approve.
9. Discuss and act on Imposition of Optional Fees for Calendar Year 2011 requested by Texas
Department of Motor Vehicles (retain or revise county R&B Fee and Child Safety Fund Fee
collected when purchasing license plate sticker). Approved to leave as is
10. Receive bids on oil and gas lease @ 10:00 a.m. on 5 acre tract in Section 13,
Block Y, GC&SF Ry Co Survey, Upton County, Texas. Accept the bid pending contract
approval by the County Attorney.
11. Discuss and act on metal roof at McCamey Park Building. Approve to fix the leaky roof.
Let the minutes reflect the Commissioners turned in their Annual Road Reports.
