NOTICE is hereby given that the Commissioners’ Court of Upton County will meet in regular
session on the 2nd Monday in June, 2010, the same being June 14, 2010, at 9:00a.m, in the
Commissioners’ Courtroom of the Courthouse in Rankin, to discuss matters coming before it in due
course of business.

2. Accept reports, deputations, and approve any additions to bond list. - Accepted reports.

3. Approve minutes of May 24th and June 7th, 2010. - Approved
4. Receive bids on struck-off property. - No bids received
5. Discuss and act on approving Upton County Historical Commission By-Laws. - Approved
6. Discuss and act on Order Prohibiting Certain Fireworks in Unincorporated Areas of Upton
County, Texas. – Approved - Designated areas include Nealy Park (not in ball field) in
McCamey, and Red Devil Stadium parking lot in Rankin. Fireworks allowed July 4th, 2010 at
designated areas, from 6:00pm until midnight.
7. Discuss and act on declaring a public nuisance, and determining a need for property (0880
GC&SF, Blk R, Section 8, .21AC, 42.75'x210', PTNW4 ID R8643) outside city limits to be
demolished and lot(s) cleaned based on report by Fire Marshall, and court's giving County
Judge authority to proceed as set out in Resolution adopted by Court. - Approved
8. Discuss and act on advertising for bids to lease a five (5) acre tract in the NE corner of
Section 13, Block Y, GC & SF Ry. Co Survey, Upton County, Texas, for mineral
development pursuant to Section 71.001, et seq. of the Texas Natural Resources Code. -
Approved
9. Discuss and act on paying PSI for extra work done at McCamey Swimming Pool Project for
extra gravel, sidewalk cement, and shower repairs. – Approved to pay PSI $ 38,084 for extra
work done. Motion by Patrick, Second by Matinez. All commissioners voted eye. Judge Bradley voted
against.
10. Discuss and act on confirming assignment of the abatement (7-10-00) of FPL Energy
Upton Wind 1 LP to new name FPL Energy Upton Wind 1, LLC. - Approved
11. Discuss and act on Enmon Insurance Agency's request to pay bond of Chief Appraiser
Sheri Stephens at Upton County Appraisal District. - Approved
12. Discuss and act on assignment of certain instrument(s) from ConocoPhillips Pipe Line
Company to Plains Marketing GP, Inc re: 8"/10" Benedum to McCamey Pipeline and 4.5"
Stiles Gathering System. – Approved
