NOTICE OF MEETING
NOTICE is hereby given that the Commissioners’ Court of Upton County will meet in regular session on the 4th Monday in January, 2010, the same being January 25, 2010, at 9:00a.m., in the Commissioners’ Courtroom of the Courthouse in Rankin, to discuss matters coming before it in due course of business.

AGENDA


1. Pay bills. - Approved.

2. Accept reports, deputations, and approve any additions to bond list. Accepted reports. There were no deputations or additions to bond list.

3. Approve minutes of January 11, 2010. - Approved.

4. Receive bids on struck-off property. - No bids received

5. Discuss and act on paying Justice of Peace Precinct # 2 $700.00 a month for 2010. - Approved.

6. Discuss and act on Resolution Authorizing County Judge to Execute a Letter of Waiver for payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILOT). – continue until February 8th, 2010

7. Discuss and act on Texas Department of Transportation’s request regarding agreement to contribute funds-local government for the development of US 385 to a divided 4-lane facility throughout Upton County in support of Texas Trunk System Initiative. – Gary Law from TXDOT spoke to the court. Court decided while the Court supports the project the Court declines to contribute funds at this time.

8. Let the minutes reflect Intergovernmental Agreement Between Upton County and Lampasas County Regarding Housing of Lampasas County Prisoners in the Upton County Jail. – Entered into the minutes.

9. Accept annual report of Emergency Service District #1. - Approved.

10. Accept annual report of Emergency Service District #2. - Approved.

11. Discuss and act on Lease Agreement for Electronic Election Equipment between Upton County and Rankin County Hospital District. – Approved. 5 machines for $ 29.95 per day for the Roll Back Election on March 16, 2010.
