NOTICE is hereby given that the Commissioners’ Court of Upton County will meet in regular
session on the 2nd Monday in December, 2009, the same being December 14, 2009, at 9:00a.m, in the
Commissioners’ Courtroom of the Courthouse in Rankin, to discuss matters coming before it in due
course of business.

6. Appoint Fire Commissioner Emergency Service District # 1.Term effective January 1, 2010.
Court appointed Mike Hill, Al Leck, & Mark Russom as Fire Commissioners for Emergency Service
District # 1, for 2 year terms.
7. Appoint Fire Commissioner Emergency Service District # 2. Term effective January 1, 2010.
Court appointed Gerald Grigsby, Norman Moody & Libby Craig as Fire Commissioners for Emergency
Service District # 2, for 2 year terms.
8. Discuss and Act on RC Cowans request to purchase/install XPS system (electric management
device). Court approved to purchase XPS system with 90 day guarantee for the chiller at north end
of courthouse for $ 2,800.00. ($2,249.95 XPS system; $ 112.00 breaker; $ 75.00 neopriene box;
$300.00 meter plus shipping and handling.) For: Jackson, Patrick, Martinez; Against: Owens
